Mr Simon Withey

Mr Simon Withey is an esteemed Consultant Plastic Surgeon who provides comprehensive aesthetic and reconstructive surgical care. Mr Withey undertook his medical education at The London Hospital Medical College, graduating in 1984. He subsequently completed higher surgical training across major London teaching institutions, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1989 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1990. Following two years of postgraduate surgical research, he earned a Master of Surgery degree in 1997 and passed his Specialty Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, FRCS (Plast), in 1998. He further expanded his clinical proficiency through a prestigious travelling fellowship in Paris, gaining advanced international experience in reconstructive and cosmetic techniques. He is a former President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).

In addition to his private practice, Mr Withey maintains a prominent role in medical education, surgical research, and clinical governance. He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and routinely instructs Plastic Surgery trainees at the Royal College of Surgeons. His clinical expertise encompasses complex facial, breast, chest wall, and abdominal wall reconstructions, as well as cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, facelifts, blepharoplasty, and body contouring. He has also provided expert guidance to regulatory bodies and parliamentary committees, contributing significantly to the establishment of high safety and quality standards across the field of Plastic Surgery.
