Mr Prashant Govilkar

Dr Prashant Govilkar is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon currently working at the private practices London Road, Great Missenden, One Medical House Boundary Way, Hemel Hempstead and Queen Alexandra Road, High Wycombe. His NHS base is Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury. His areas of interest are cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, breast reconstruction, bariatric massive weight loss, body contouring, lower body lifts/belt lipectomy/ thigh lift/ brachioplasty and mastopexy.

Dr Govilkar graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from Grant Medical College and the J.J Group of Hospitals, Bombay. He completed training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the J.J Group of Hospitals and the LTMMG Hospitals. He attained an MCh (Plastic Surgery) degree and undertook a Microsurgery training fellowship in Brescia, Italy. He has a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England which he was awarded in 2003 and a plastic surgery Fellowship in 2007.

Dr Govilkar received the award, British Association of Plastic Surgeons fellowship for microsurgical training at the Canniesburn Hospital, in Glasgow. He has the profesisonal memberships General Medical Council and Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery.
