Dr Simon Phillpotts is a consultant in Gastroenterology at both University College London Hospital and Royal Free London Hospital in North London. His expertise includes general gastroenterology and endoscopy, with a special interest in pancreatobiliary medicine.
He qualified at St George’s University of London in 2010 and completed his Gastroenterology training across North London. He has numerous Gastroenterology publications, particularly on his research interests of the endoscopic management of bile duct and pancreatic diseases. He is also enthusiastic about education having obtained a PG Cert in medical education at QMUL and he is regularly involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education, in particular endoscopy training courses.
