Mr Hislop is a fantastic surgeon, he gave excellent explanations of my injury and the treatment plan. The surgery day went very well and I have made strong progress in my recovery thanks to his effective work.

The HCA Chelsea Outpatients clinic offers a pleasant and calm environment. The registration process was quick and the waiting area comfortable and cool. Tea, coffee and cold water was available. My appointment started punctually. Mr Hislop had reviewed my notes in advance and gave a clear appraisal of my MRI scan and report that I could understand. I especially appreciated that he didn't pressure me into early intervention but took the stance of see how things go and come back if anything changes. I left feeling reassured.

My time at the NVH was one of great nursing support, unparalleled pain control, and excellent pre-operative consultation and explanation, followed by an operation that was straightforward, well managed, and resulted in a swift recovery. It was a five-star experience.
