Just had my 6 month follow up post ACL surgery with Simon. All good with no issues back to running and full time work.
Mr Hislop operated my left hip as I had severe osteoarthritis this July 2026 . I am delighted with the outcome , I have a small scar which is healing nicely. Mr Hislop took the time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions regarding the operation before and after the event and I felt very well looked after . I highly recommend him , to those of you out there still suffering and in pain .

Mr Hislop is a fantastic surgeon, he gave excellent explanations of my injury and the treatment plan. The surgery day went very well and I have made strong progress in my recovery thanks to his effective work.
The whole process from first consultation, the operation, to follow up consultations has been managed with incredible professionalism from mr Hislop and his team. The lead up to, the operation and the recovery has been exactly as mr Hislop described at the first consultation, my hip is now getting back to normal after six weeks and I am pain free! The HCA Chelsea Outpatients clinic offers a pleasant and calm environment. The registration process was quick and the waiting area comfortable and cool. Tea, coffee and cold water was available. My appointment started punctually. Mr Hislop had reviewed my notes in advance and gave a clear appraisal of my MRI scan and report that I could understand. I especially appreciated that he didn't pressure me into early intervention but took the stance of see how things go and come back if anything changes. I left feeling reassured.
