Dr Serena Braccio

Dr Serena Braccio is a highly regarded General Paediatrician who specialises in providing comprehensive care for children and young people. She manages a wide range of acute and chronic childhood conditions, ensuring that her young patients and their families receive reassuring and expert support. Her clinical practice encompasses general paediatric medicine, outpatient consultations, and inpatient care, with a focus on delivering tailored treatment plans that support healthy development.

With a dedicated clinical interest in paediatric allergy, Dr Braccio is expert in diagnosing and managing various allergic disorders. Her areas of expertise include immediate and delayed food reactions, food allergy syndromes, urticaria, and allergies to aeroallergens and pets. She is highly skilled in arranging allergy diagnostic tests, such as skin prick testing and specific IgE blood tests, as well as managing food challenges. Additionally, she has extensive experience in paediatric infectious diseases, emergency medicine, and neonatal care, and she serves as an Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and Neonatal Life Support (NLS) Instructor.

Dr Braccio graduated with her medical degree from the University of Bari in Italy in 2009. She subsequently relocated to London to complete her postgraduate paediatric training, gaining valuable experience across general and subspeciality paediatric posts, including neonatal and paediatric intensive care. To further her expertise, she completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Allergy at Imperial College London. Alongside her clinical work, she has been actively involved in infectious disease and vaccine research at St George's University, London, and Public Health England, and she regularly presents her work at national and international medical conferences.
