Today went very well i’m pleased with my progress because Mr Scott Macinnes did a fabulous job
Mr. Scott MacInnes has been exemplary in his general manner and professionalism, in each of my appointments with him. Everything has been explained extremely clearly, and I have complete confidence in his expertise. It is now just six weeks since my rotator cuff repair procedure, and already the shoulder feels almost ‘normal’! I count myself very fortunate indeed, to have been treated by Mr. MacInnes.
A 1st class service from start to finish. No more to be said.
I will put it like this for the last 3yrs my left shoulder joint due to an accident in in 2010 was 20% functional and thanks to Mr Macinnes' s operational skills I now have 100% functional use of my left arm.
It was suggested by a physiotherapist that a shoulder replacement may not work. I could still be in pain and movement may not be any better that I had then. I ignored him and went ahead and had a replacement at DRI in Doncaster. It is the best thing I have had done. I was pain free immediately after the operation and my shoulder feels exactly the same as my other one. Absolutely brilliant and no pain or restrictions whatsoever. I would highly recommend the operation to anyone who has doubts
I have known Scott for over 15 years and he is an exceptional Shoulder and elbow surgeon. Very unusually he has a PhD which he studied for whilst under working as a registrar. He is very well trained, highly motivated and very popular with his patients Scott very successfully performed shoulder stabilisation surgery for my son. Scott is as good as anyone out there Highly recommended

Orthopaedic SurgeonMr MacInnes has been a colleague of mine for 13 years now. We trained in South Yorkshire together as registrars and started as consultants together within a few months of each other at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals. During that time I have witnessed him deal with some complex trauma and elective surgeries. He always strives to deliver first class surgical care and operates on every patient with the upmost care and precision. He has excellent communication skills and holds patient satisfaction at the core of all that he does.
