Dr Sarah Ibitoye

Dr Sarah Ibitoye is an experienced Consultant Physician specialising in General (Internal) Medicine, Acute Internal Medicine, and Perioperative Medicine. She provides expert medical assessment and care for patients requiring urgent medical evaluation or ongoing treatment for complex conditions. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, Dr Ibitoye works alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure every patient receives an accurate diagnosis and a tailored management plan.

Her clinical practice covers a wide range of acute medical needs, including Same Day Emergency Care and urgent hospital assessments. As a Perioperative Physician, Dr Ibitoye works closely with surgical teams to support older adults and individuals living with frailty who are preparing for or recovering from surgical procedures and major trauma. Her holistic approach focuses on evaluating medical risks prior to surgery, managing co-existing medical conditions, and minimising postoperative complications to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr Ibitoye qualified in medicine in Manchester in 2009. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Tropical and Infectious Diseases, a Postgraduate Diploma in Perioperative Medicine from University College London, and a Postgraduate Award in Medical Education. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Ibitoye serves as an Advanced Life Support Instructor and is actively engaged in training postgraduate doctors, medical research, and clinical service development.
