About Dr Ankur Srivastava

Dr Ankur Srivastava is the clinical lead for gastroenterology and Hepatology at North Bristol NHS Trust. He specialises in general gastroenterology, including inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel disease, and liver disease, and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and also offers virtual consultations.

He completed his specialist training within the North East London rotation and was awarded a PhD from University College London for his research into the early detection of chronic liver disease. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of liver conditions alongside a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders.

Dr Srivastava holds several leadership roles within his organisation.
