I was recently admitted for major surgery under the referral on Mr Pournaras. The entire experience could not have gone smoother and was stress free. Mr Pournaras explained all aspects of the surgey clearly as well as the recovery. I could have asked for a better Surgeon.

Mr Pournaras was excellent from the get go. He could see the pain I was in and was eager to do what he could to help. He managed to go above and beyond in every possible way. Before I had my gallbladder out my quality of life was non-existant. I had months of fighting the my GP for the simplest of scans and had lost 25 kilos in less than a month and a half. Once Mr Pournaras was involved I had an endoscopic ultrasound and a scheduled surgery date within 3 weeks. While this was unable to initially go ahead due to unrelated medical issues on my end, Mr Pournaras was able to come up with a plan b as quickly as possible. I am now 4 weeks post op after my lap choly and am able to start living my life again. I am beyond grateful to Mr Pournaras and his lovely surgical team and would not hesitate to visit him for further issues if needed.
