Dr. Sara Dorman

Dr. Sara Dorman is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in paediatric orthopaedic surgery, upper limb reconstruction, and neuromuscular conditions. She provides comprehensive, compassionate care for children and young adults experiencing a wide array of congenital, developmental, and traumatic musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Dorman is committed to delivering individualised treatment plans that prioritise both clinical excellence and the long-term mobility of her young patients, offering reassuring guidance to families throughout their healthcare journey.

Her clinical practice focuses on complex paediatric upper limb conditions, cerebral palsy management, upper limb spasticity care, and congenital hand differences. Dr. Dorman routinely manages paediatric fractures, growth disturbances, and limb deformities. Her expertise includes advanced reconstructive upper limb procedures, tendon transfers, hyperselective nerve surgery, circular frame techniques for limb deformity correction, and complex paediatric trauma care.

Dr. Dorman earned her Bachelor of Medical Science (BMSc) in Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology in 2009 and her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2010 from the University of Dundee. She completed higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics, followed by sub-specialty fellowships in paediatric orthopaedics, neuromuscular surgery, and reconstructive hand and upper limb surgery across top centres in the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and Cambodia. She holds professional memberships with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Orthopaedic Association, and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
