Dr Samuel Grimsley

Dr Samuel Grimsley is a dedicated Consultant Urologist who provides compassionate and patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide spectrum of urological conditions. Known for his approachable and sympathetic clinical manner, he ensures that patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options thoroughly, offering clarity and reassurance during times of anxiety or distress.

In his clinical practice, Dr Grimsley focuses on general urology with specific interests in urinary tract stone disease, lower urinary tract symptoms, and prostate conditions, including prostate adenocarcinoma. He is experienced in conducting comprehensive evaluations for symptoms such as haematuria (blood in the urine) and provides diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including flexible cystoscopy, transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), and stone removal procedures.

Dr Grimsley earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside an undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. He subsequently undertook advanced postgraduate study, achieving a Master of Science (MSc) in Cancer Sciences and Molecular Pathology from the University of Glasgow. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Urol), a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), and holds membership in the British Association of Urological Surgeons.
