Dr Sakina Ali

Dr Sakina Ali is a highly dedicated Consultant Neonatologist specialising in Paediatrics and Neonatal Medicine. With a career focused on the care of newborn infants, particularly those born prematurely or with complex medical needs, she provides expert, compassionate care to her young patients and reassuring support to their families. Dr Ali is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care, ensuring that every infant receives the best possible start in life.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of neonatal conditions, with a particular area of clinical interest in neonatal infectious diseases. Dr Ali has also taken on significant regional leadership roles, serving as the Consultant Lead for neonatal transitional care guidelines. In this capacity, she works to improve admission and discharge pathways, helping to standardise and enhance the quality of care provided to newborns transitioning from intensive care to home.

Dr Ali completed her medical degree at the University of London before undertaking comprehensive postgraduate training in London, where she completed highly specialised training in neonatal medicine.
