Dr Saeedia Khwaja

Dr Saeedia Khwaja is a highly skilled Consultant ENT Surgeon specialising in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery (Otolaryngology). She provides compassionate, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide range of upper respiratory, nasal, facial, and laryngeal conditions. Driven by a commitment to restoring function and enhancing quality of life, Dr Khwaja combines advanced surgical techniques with an empathetic, evidence-based approach to patient care.

Dr Khwaja holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) alongside the Diploma in Laryngology and Otology (DLO), Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS (ORL-HNS)), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Workplace-Based Medical Education. She completed specialist fellowship training in plastic reconstructive surgery as well as rhinology, skull base, and facial plastic surgery. In addition to her clinical appointments, Dr Khwaja holds active professional memberships with national bodies, including the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgeons, the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons, and the British Laryngological Association, and serves as an Educational Supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees.

Her extensive clinical practice encompasses rhinology, facial plastic surgery, laryngology, and swallowing disorders. Dr Khwaja specialises in managing complex sinonasal conditions such as chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis, alongside performing functional and revision rhinoplasty and head and neck skin cancer procedures. Furthermore, she possesses dedicated expertise in voice disorders, treating laryngeal conditions using targeted surgical techniques and botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for conditions such as spasmodic dysphonia and muscle tension dysphonia. She also manages adult airway conditions and runs dedicated dysphagia services for patients experiencing swallowing difficulties.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Khwaja is actively involved in clinical research and multidisciplinary care. She serves as a Principal Investigator on clinical trials evaluating new treatments for rhinology and airway conditions, ensuring her practice remains at the forefront of medical advancement. By collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech and Language Therapists, Dr Khwaja delivers holistic and personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs.
