About Mr Soosai Nathan
Mr Soosai Nathan is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery.
His higher surgical training was on the North West Thames Orthopaedic rotation and obtained his FRCS (Orth) in 1997, followed by granting of CCST in the same year. Mr Nathan has published in foot and ankle surgery and is a higher surgical trainer for orthopaedic trainees of North West Thames rotation. He has been presented the 'Trainer of the year award' for West Thames Orthopaedic Trainees in 2018.
Mr Nathan is experienced in dealing with the day to day foot and ankle surgery such as the Bunions, heel pains, flat feet, Tibialis posterior tendon pathologies to addressing the most complex problems of Calcaneal fractures, Lisfranc fracture-dislocations, diabetic Charcot neuropathic foot ankle disorders and including Total Ankle Replacements and Ankle fusions for ankle arthritis.
He is also experienced in dealing with sports injuries involving Foot and Ankles, Knees and Shoulders and has extensive experience in carrying out Knee arthroscopies for Meniscal Surgery and Anterior Cruciate Ligament Surgery as well as Shoulder Arthoscopies for Rotator Cuff problems
