Mr Michael Philip Fox is professional, caring, and clear in his patient interactions. He shows excellent knowledge of procedures such as piriformis release surgery and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, inspiring confidence. Patients receive good explanations of complex information, leading to excellent recoveries and relief from pain. His expertise in treating nerve pain and various peripheral nerve injuries is a common focus.
I cannot recommend Mr. Michael Fox highly enough. From the moment I met him, it was clear I was speaking with someone of exceptional knowledge, experience, and professionalism. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, never made me feel rushed, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. His calm, compassionate, and reassuring manner immediately put me at ease. What impressed me most was not only his remarkable expertise in neurology, but also the genuine care he showed throughout the consultation. He looked at my condition as an individual rather than simply treating symptoms, and I left feeling listened to, respected, and, for the first time in a long time, genuinely hopeful. After living with ongoing neurological pain and uncertainty, finding a consultant I have complete confidence in means more than words can express. Mr. Fox has restored my faith that there is a path forward, and I trust his judgement completely. He is an outstanding clinician and a credit to the Cleveland Clinic. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone seeking a neurologist of the highest calibre. Thank you, Mr. Fox, for your professionalism, compassion, and dedication it has made a lasting impression on me.
Mr Fox took on my case of Thoracic outlet Syndrome from assessment to surgery and post op. From the start he came across as patient and knowledgeable, he was clear with me about expectations and outcomes and how he was ensuring he was able to achieve the best result possible but also about the possibility of finding nothing during the surgery. His approach to surgery was to take a look and inspect everything before making the decision, this was important to me as I wanted a more conservative approach which can vary greatly between surgeons. Two weeks post op I am glad I made the choice to proceed with him and it feels as I am starting to gain my function back. Couldn’t recommend Mr Fox enough.
Mr Fox explained everything to me succinctly and clearly was notably polite and generally nice and seemed to very much care about getting the best clinical result possible. I couldn’t have asked for more from an initial consultation.
I've been under the care of Michael Fox for the past 6-7 years and would like to put it on record that out of all the medical professionals I've dealt with, and there have been a lot, he's the best. He performed a successful piriformis release surgery 6 years ago and has been honest with me from day one about the complexity of my situation. I saw him again for the first time in a few years and you know you're in good hands when you really look forward to seeing a consultant. Therefore I cannot recommend him enough if you are looking for a peripheral nerve surgeon.
Professional and to the point. Willing to address all my questions
Last post op appointment was as well managed as pre and operative care. Michael Fox came highly recommended and lived up to his excellent reputation. He never appears rushed during his consultations and is very clear in his explanation of the situation.
I have referred my patients to Mr Fox for peripheral nerve surgery. Most recently for thoracic outlet syndrome and brachial plexus biopsy.
