James listened he was honest and kind with it! After having very bad experience with other consultant james has put my faith in them again! Would recommend him any day!

Mr Langdon helped me enormously with his expertise (and sewing skills). He was understanding of the pain I was in, explained the pros of the surgery I undertook but also was at pains to explain the cons when things don't go according to plan. He was very good at allaying my fears, I felt totally confident in him. Also a mention to Christina, his secretary, who was just a joy to deal with. Efficient and totally understanding.

Mr Langdon was very thorough and gave a full explanation of the treatment. He was available afterwards as well when I had questions. He also called to follow up.

I met Mr Langdon following a 2 year history of lower back pain (L5/S1 disc herniation) which conservative management hadn’t improved. He has been at all times sympathetic, understanding and kept my expectations realistic. After 2 rounds of injections he performed a microdiscectomy after much discussion of the pros and cons and a reassuring respect for my concerns and wishes. I am 14 weeks post-op and have just returned from a game of squash with no pain- something which I never dreamed I would be able to do again. At 30 years old, I thought my active life was over. But James has given me real hope that that may not be the case. I am completely indebted to him and his team.

Exceptional care received from Dr Langdon from start to finish. They took the time to carefully explain everything - the problem, the potential options and once agreed to proceed with surgery, carried out the procedure without any issues. Follow up care had also been excellent. Would very much recommend.
