Dr Rosemary Lamb

Dr Rosemary Lamb is an accomplished Consultant General Surgeon who provides expert surgical care for patients with a wide range of abdominal and general surgical conditions. Known for her reassuring and thorough approach, she ensures that individuals receive clear guidance, comprehensive evaluations, and personalised treatment plans tailored to their specific health needs.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of general and specialised surgical procedures. Dr Lamb has particular clinical interests in groin hernia repair and complex abdominal wall hernia repairs, utilising both open and minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques. Her elective surgical focus also includes gallbladder surgery, renal transplant surgery, and the excision of benign skin lesions, including cysts, lipomas, and skin tags.

Dr Lamb completed her medical training at the University of Southampton, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine (BM) in 2005. She undertook advanced postgraduate research, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Cardiff University in 2019, and achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) through the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2021.
