Dr Ravindran Karthigan is an accomplished Consultant Radiologist with extensive expertise in clinical and diagnostic radiology. Dedicated to providing patient-focused, reassuring care, Dr Karthigan works alongside multidisciplinary medical teams to deliver clear and accurate diagnostic reporting. His compassionate clinical approach helps patients feel informed and supported throughout their imaging assessments and diagnostic procedures.

Dr Karthigan has a major clinical focus on breast radiology and oncology imaging. His practice encompasses a broad range of diagnostic and interventional techniques, including high-resolution ultrasound assessments, mammography interpretation, and image-guided diagnostic procedures. He routinely performs specialised interventions such as ultrasound-guided biopsies, core biopsies of breast lesions, and the placement of imaging-guided localisation markers and guidewires to assist in surgical and therapeutic planning.

Dr Karthigan qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) before completing postgraduate training in surgery and clinical radiology. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).
