Professor Heer has provided wonderful advice and care to me. It was a shock to be diagnosed with prostate cancer, but in a very caring and compassionate way he informed me of all the options and guided me through them, helping me to make the best decision. His bedside manner and his efficiency are exceptional. Letters confirming the results of tests and advice usually arrive the same day, and certainly by the following day. He performed the surgery robotically and obtained the best possible result - removing all the cancer, which fortunately was confined to the prostate, and preserving all the nerves, which should enable a full recovery. A brilliant medical practitioner.

Professor Heer was a thoughtful and thorough doctor and I felt complete trust throughout several months of uncertainty. He explained everything in detail and left no stone unturned. I would also like to say that the rest of the staff that was supporting him at HCA (eg nurses during small procedures) was equally wonderful. I would highly recommend HCA and Prof Heer.
