Outstanding expert care. Looked after my prostate cancer end-to-end. Caring and careful to explain all aspects of my care. Accessible when urgent advise. Absolutely excellent. Strongly recommended!!!
It was a telephone consultancy for a three month post operative check up. he was very clear and engaging.
Professor Heer explained the issue clearly, took time to answer my questions and was friendly and pleasant to deal with. The consultation didn't feel rushed and all made sense.
Professor Heer was a thoughtful and thorough doctor and I felt complete trust throughout several months of uncertainty. He explained everything in detail and left no stone unturned. I would also like to say that the rest of the staff that was supporting him at HCA (eg nurses during small procedures) was equally wonderful. I would highly recommend HCA and Prof Heer.
Professor Rakesh Heer has been brilliant all the way through my journey
Prof Heer is clearly best-in-class. In the space of 6 months, he diagnosed & resolved (via prostatectomy) my cancer and got me back to full health. He has a very reassuring manner and has been extremely supportive.
Professor Heer is an outstanding surgeon, academic, and mentor. He has an international reputation for research and surgical excellence. He is an expert in robotic surgery and focal therapy, and has a tremendous bed side manner. I would strongly recommend his care.
