Dr Rajkumar Johi

Dr. Rajkumar Johi is a highly experienced Consultant Anaesthetist with a special interest in anaesthesia, intensive care medicine, and transoesophageal echocardiography. He has been practising in the medical field for many years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his patients.

Dr. Johi completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Chennai in 1989. He then pursued a Diploma in Anaesthesia from the same institution in 1994, further enhancing his skills in anaesthetic practice.

In 1999, Dr. Johi achieved the prestigious distinction of becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetist (FRCA), a testament to his commitment to advancing his knowledge and skills in anaesthesia.

He is currently serving as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, holding the position of Lead Clinician at the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. With over 17 years of experience in this role, Dr. Johi plays a crucial role in providing anaesthetic care and intensive care support to patients in the trust. He also sees patients privately at Spencer Private Hospital Ashford and Margate.

Dr. Johi's clinical interests encompass a wide range of anaesthetic practices. He has specialised expertise in transoesophageal echocardiography, a specialised imaging technique used in cardiac surgery and critical care medicine.
