Dr Priya Sukhtankar

Dr Priya Sukhtankar is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert, compassionate medical care to infants, children, and young people. She delivers comprehensive clinical assessments and individualised care plans across a wide range of childhood health conditions. Working across both acute inpatient care and outpatient clinics, Dr Sukhtankar focuses on establishing positive health outcomes while ensuring young patients and their families feel reassured and supported throughout their care journey.

In addition to general paediatric medicine, Dr Sukhtankar has developed specialised expertise in paediatric gastroenterology, playing a key clinical role in diagnosing and managing complex digestive conditions in children. She also holds a strong clinical interest in paediatric mental health and active participation in paediatric research studies. Her practice includes overseeing paediatric day unit infusion treatments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.

Dr Sukhtankar completed her primary medical education, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. She subsequently undertook further postgraduate study to earn a Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She is fully registered with the General Medical Council and remains actively involved in clinical governance, research, and medical education.
