Dr Peter Lillitos

Dr Peter Lillitos is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician with sub-specialist expertise in Paediatric Cardiology. He provides compassionate, family-centred care for infants, children, and young people facing a broad range of general childhood illnesses and complex cardiovascular conditions. Known for his objective, thorough, and reassuring clinical approach, Dr Lillitos works closely with parents and families to ensure clear communication and supportive management throughout every stage of a child's care.

In his clinical practice, Dr Lillitos focuses on the diagnosis, assessment, and non-surgical management of congenital heart conditions from the foetal stage through childhood. His clinical interests encompass foetal cardiac evaluations, complex congenital heart defects such as transposition of the great arteries, single-ventricle heart conditions, and post-operative cardiovascular monitoring. Additionally, he has conducted extensive clinical research into paediatric early warning systems and home-monitoring strategies, working to enhance patient safety and early recognition of clinical deterioration in young patients.

Dr Lillitos completed his undergraduate medical degree before undertaking comprehensive postgraduate specialist training in general Paediatrics. He subsequently completed advanced higher specialist sub-speciality training in Paediatric Cardiology.
