Restorative Dentistry

Getting ceramic veneers from Dr Photini has been life changing. I’m happier now because I smile more and I feel more relaxed and confident talking to and meeting people. I’m comfortable being in photos and I’m learning to laugh without covering my mouth; a habit I had developed unconsciously.
The result exceeded my expectations in terms of how naturally the size, shape and proportion of the veneers fit my smile. They feel exactly like my own teeth and my speech is unaffected. The colour matches seamlessly to my existing teeth and there is luminosity to them.
Photini was very patient and thorough explaining the pros and cons of ceramic v. composite. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision and she gave me ample time to process, reflect and ask any other questions at our appointments.
The process gave me ample opportunities to see and feel how the veneers would be in my mouth i.e. after initially seeing the smile on screen then through a wax mock-up in the mouth, then the temporary veneers, and then the final veneers before they were permanently fixed.
During my initial assessment Photini identified a possible issue with a previous partial root filling. She referred me to Dr. David Treagus who was able to replace fully to the root, the old filling, thus eliminating the infection risk that I had been totally unaware of.
Photini was also able to suggest a successful tooth whitening programme which had great results. Previously and through other dentists, I couldn’t whiten due to sensitivity issues. Photini’s recommendation was a game changer.
I would highly recommend Photini. I always felt I was in safe, capable and artistic hands and my finished result is testament to this.

Medical Check-Ups

My appointment was for checkup This was done very efficiently by professionally and covered all aspects of the historical treatment and the overall dental health we also discussed some future Work that might be required if various crowns which are quite old fails and we would then need to do some additional implants a role a very satisfactory day

Scale & Polish

Excellent dental surgery, I’ve been with them for many years. This was my usual 6 month check, all good. As always, friendly welcome, short wait (taken early). Felt cared for!

Dental Implants

Not a very pleasant experience to get my peg in place but everyone was very reassuring

Teeth Cleaning

Lorraine was very informative and put me on the right track for making improvements in my routine for better gum health.

Normally very scared when I have to visit the dentist. I did not need to worry as Ashley checked and treated my teeth without any pain. Very professional and looking forward to the next appointment.

Andrew is a conservative dentist and never does anything unnecessary. I always enjoy my visits.
