Dr Oliver Jefferis

Dr Oliver Jefferis is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician who provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in General Paediatrics and Acute Paediatrics, he offers expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a broad spectrum of childhood illnesses. Dr Jefferis possesses specialist expertise in managing complex post-viral conditions, including paediatric long COVID, as well as postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (PoTS) and autonomic dysfunctions in young patients.

Dr Jefferis completed his medical training and postgraduate specialist qualifications in paediatric medicine. He is an active member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), serving as a Training Programme Director to oversee and mentor higher specialty trainees in child health. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Jefferis has contributed significantly to global health education and clinical research, having served internationally as a paediatric lecturer to improve acute paediatric care and emergency treatment guidelines.
