Dr Oliver Cousins

Dr Oliver Cousins is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist who provides expert diagnostic assessment and reassuring care for individuals experiencing complex neurological conditions. With a primary clinical focus on cognitive neurology, dementia, and adult hydrocephalus, he evaluates patients presenting with memory difficulties, thinking issues, and cognitive decline. Dr Cousins specialises in identifying younger-onset and uncommon causes of memory and cognitive impairment, ensuring each patient receives a comprehensive assessment and a clear, tailored plan for management.

Dr Cousins completed his higher specialist neurology training across London and Kent. He further advanced his scientific knowledge by earning a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Neuroscience from King's College London, conducting research on the role of microglia in Alzheimer's disease and the impact of cerebrospinal fluid dynamics on neurological conditions. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and a Member of the Association of British Neurologists, demonstrating his adherence to the highest standard of neurological practice.
