Ms Nour Norris OBE

Ms Nour Norris OBE is a psychotherapist currently practicing at The London Psychiatry Centre. She holds a degree in Mental Health Counselling from Birmingham Newman University (2022) and specialises in supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, domestic abuse, grief, depression, and anxiety.

Her integrative approach combines cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic, and person-centred therapies, creating a framework that is both evidence-based and deeply empathetic. What sets Nour apart is the lived experience she brings to her practice. As a survivor, campaigner, and reformer, she offers her clients more than clinical understanding but connection, advocacy, and the reassurance of someone who truly understands the path to recovery.

Outside of her clinical work, Nour is the founder of SecureLife, a national initiative dedicated to preventing violence against women and girls through education, early intervention, and systemic change. Her pioneering activism has directly saved lives and continues to shape national policy and practice around domestic abuse prevention.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Nour was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours List for her services to preventing violence against women and girls.
