Dr. Nicholas Tsarouchas

Dr. Nicholas Tsarouchas is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist who provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing a wide array of brain, nerve, and muscle conditions. Dr. Tsarouchas completed his primary medical qualification (MD) in Medicine and Neurosciences at the University of Szeged in 2002. He subsequently earned a Master of Science and PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Neurophysiology in 2010. Following extensive post-graduate clinical training, he was admitted to Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2014 and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Neurophysiology in 2018. He further advanced his professional profile by completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Clinical Education from Cardiff University School of Medicine in 2021.

His core areas of clinical interest include epileptology, movement disorders, and neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Tsarouchas routinely manages complex health concerns such as epilepsy, tremor, dystonia, Parkinson's disease, functional neurological disorders, and motor neuron disease. In addition, he performs specialised diagnostic assessments, including electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies (ENG), to accurately diagnose conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral neuropathies, and myasthenia gravis.
