I would like to start by saying this is one of the first doctors in my opinion to actually listen to the patient. He listened to me, I spoke about my concerns and he got onto the issues I had straight away. He is without a doubt an amazing doctor. I put my trust in his care and he is extremely patient, caring and professional. Thank you so much!

Mr Dixon has been amazing in helping me manage my options and decisions as a patient. By giving me the best advice and options available for my health when discovering A large fibroid on my uterus He's diligent factual, professional, reliable, talented, pragmatic and consistent In the way that he engages with patients. He always makes times no matter how big or small the request is. I always felt safe and secure when I speak to Mr Dixon he undertook a very successful operation and removed my Fibroids. I saw Dr Dixon for the first time to discuss endometriosis treatment. Within two appointments he had organised an MRI and laparoscopic excision surgery for me to take place within the following 3 months. He was the first specialist I had spoken to in over 6 years of severely debilitating symptoms who listened, was extremely well-informed, educated me on my options and instilled hope regarding treatment. The appointment process, (from booking through to in person versus telephone options for attendance) his bedside manner during complex scans and before surgery, his surgical expertise and support before and after, his flexibility with appointment times and lengths - he provided an excellent and second to none service for me and his input has changed my life (now 4 months on from my first endometriosis surgery with him).

From my first appointment with Dr Dixon I felt heard, after being dismissed for so many years about my pain. He has such a calm but confident manor, that particularly on the day of my operation he made me feel calm. It was my first time ever in hospital at age 40, I was a little anxious and I knew as soon as I spoke with him I didn’t need to be. He gave clear information about what I’d had done, told me when our follow up should be and all my aftercare I left knowing exactly what I need to do. I wish all doctors were like him.
