Dr Neemisha Jain

Dr Neemisha Jain is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician who provides dedicated medical care for infants, children, and young people. Focusing on delivering compassionate and family-centred healthcare, Dr Jain works closely with parents and carers to ensure every young patient receives personalised care tailored to their developmental and health needs. Her broad expertise spans general childhood health concerns as well as specialised paediatric conditions.

Her main area of clinical interest lies in paediatric diabetes management, with a particular focus on type 1 diabetes and continuous insulin pump therapy. Dr Jain has been instrumental in introducing structured education initiatives designed to empower families in managing childhood diabetes effectively. In addition to her diabetes expertise, she holds significant clinical leadership responsibilities in paediatric emergency assessment and emergency liaison services, ensuring high standards of acute care for young patients.

Dr Jain completed her initial medical qualifications with an MBBS in 1992, graduating as a Gold Medallist, followed by an MD in Paediatrics in 1996. She gained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in 2003 and obtained her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Paediatrics in 2004. She subsequently undertook further higher specialist training in paediatric diabetes to advance her clinical expertise in managing complex metabolic and endocrine conditions in young people.
