Dr Natasha Sauven

Dr Natasha Sauven is an esteemed Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Community Paediatrician who specialises in providing comprehensive, family-centred care for children and young adults. Driven by a commitment to holistic medicine, Dr Sauven advocates strongly for youth-focused healthcare, ensuring that young patients are listened to, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. Her clinical practice spans general child health, adolescent medicine, and community paediatric services, where she delivers tailored care that considers emotional, physical, and social well-being.

Dr Sauven holds extensive clinical expertise in paediatric eating disorders, including Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), anorexia nervosa, and restrictive eating behaviours. In addition to managing complex mental health presentations in young people, she leads clinical initiatives aimed at supporting smooth transitions for adolescents moving from paediatric to adult health services for chronic conditions such as diabetes and cystic fibrosis. Her clinical focus also encompasses specialist early-years weight management and physical risk monitoring for young individuals with eating disorders.

Dr Sauven completed specialist postgraduate fellowship training in adolescent medicine at the University of British Columbia. She is a dedicated member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), where she serves as the Convenor for the Young People's Health Special Interest Group. Recognised for her clinical leadership, patient advocacy, and contribution to medical education, Dr Sauven has been honoured with the Consultant Hero Award at the Paediatric Awards for Training Achievements.
