Dr Natalie Lyth

Dr Natalie Lyth is an experienced Consultant Community Paediatrician who specialises in children's health, growth, and developmental needs. Having initially trained as a General Practitioner, Dr Lyth developed a strong clinical focus on developmental conditions and the wide-ranging impact these conditions have on young people and their families. This motivated her to transition into Paediatrics, where she provides comprehensive, compassionate, and collaborative care tailored to the individual needs of each child.

Dr Lyth earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from the University of Liverpool in 1997. To further deepen her clinical expertise in paediatric care, she completed a Master of Medical Science (M.Med.Sci) in Child Health. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH).

Throughout her career, Dr Lyth has focused extensively on autism spectrum conditions, neurodevelopmental assessments, and child safeguarding. She established and leads dedicated autism diagnostic services, supporting families through clear, structured evaluations and ongoing guidance. Additionally, she serves as a Designated Doctor for Safeguarding and Clinical Director, carrying out detailed health assessments for looked-after children and providing expert medical reports for children with special educational needs to ensure appropriate support is delivered.
