Dr Nandita Danda

Dr Nandita Danda is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in comprehensive child health, acute paediatrics, and paediatric endocrinology. With a compassionate approach, she provides individualised medical care to infants, children, and young people. Dr Danda focuses on supporting young patients and their families through thorough clinical assessments, accurate diagnoses, and structured management plans designed to promote long-term well-being.

Her primary areas of clinical focus encompass general paediatrics, paediatric diabetes, and paediatric endocrinology. Dr Danda has developed advanced expertise in managing complex endocrine conditions in children, including type 1 diabetes and growth failure. She is skilled in administering insulin pump therapy and utilising modern diabetes technologies to assist children and young people in maintaining effective glycaemic control. Additionally, Dr Danda holds certifications in advanced paediatric life support and neonatal life support, ensuring a high standard of care during acute and emergency clinical situations.

Dr Danda earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Karnatak University in 1999. Demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous professional development, she later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health from the University of Leeds in 2018, as well as a Master of Science in Paediatric Diabetes and Insulin Pump Therapy. She achieved membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2012 and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training in Paediatrics.
