Dr Na'eem Ahmed

Na’eem Ahmed (BEM FRCR FRCP) is a distinguished medical professional with a comprehensive background in healthcare. He graduated from Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ Hospital with the St Thomas’ Hospital Cup (George Leach Trophy) and completed his radiology training at St George’s Hospital, Royal Marsden Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Royal Brompton Hospital. He further specialised with a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship.

He has served in various advisory roles, including at the Department for International Development and as a trustee at Macmillan Cancer Support. He has contributed to the National Advisory Group for the Keogh Review and held editorial positions with the Royal College of Physicians’ Clinical Medicine and Future Healthcare Journals.

Na’eem is also the founder of Selfless, a global health NGO, and co-founder of the MedTech start-up ImproveWell. In recognition of his contributions to healthcare and volunteering, he was awarded the British Empire Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2019.
