Ms Joan Kelly

Ms Joan Kelly is a Psychotherapist based in Berkshire and London, UK. In addition to her MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London, she has a long list of professional psychotherapy certificates and diplomas to support her many years of clinical experience. Ms Kelly offers open-ended as well as short-term counselling and her model of therapy is Eclecticism. Eclecticism is a conceptual approach that does not hold rigidly to a single model of therapy or set of assumptions, but instead draws upon multiple theories, styles, or ideas to gain insights into a presenting issue, or applies different theories in particular cases. Put simply, this means that the client does not need to fit into a prescribed model. Rather, a treatment plan is designed uniquely for each client.
She is a fully registered member of both the BACP and the UKRC, with extensive training in handling cases of PTSD, relationship problems, certain phobias, and a wide variety of other psychosocial issues.

Joan is also a stress management consultant with extensive experience of working within the private and public sector. She is an highly experienced trainer on the topic to corporates and also works extensively with individuals helping them to design their individual stress management plans of action.
