Miss Rahat Khan is an experienced gynaecologist with vast clinical experience in all aspects of Gynaecology. She believes in best practice and delivering high quality, patient-centred care.
Miss Khan received her preliminary education in Malta. She obtained her primary medical qualification in Karachi with distinctions and then moved back to the UK. She completed her entire Obstetrics and Gynaecology CCT training in the South Thames London deanery rotational training programme in the UK. She obtained her MRCOG and FRCOG qualifications from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists RCOG, London. She has publications in peer reviewed journals and has published chapters in text books.
She was appointed as a substantive NHS Consultant in 2011. Miss Khan has made vast evidence based improvements in clinical services both for obstetrics and gynaecology since her appointment. She is also an examiner for the Part 3 MRCOG exams at the RCOG, London. She believes in listening to her patients and providing safe, evidence-based high quality care tailored to the needs of women.
