About Mr Daniel Selo-Ojeme
Mr Dan Selo-Ojeme is senior consultant gynaecologist with the Royal Free London NHS Trust and works at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital. He is a highly experienced and well-rounded gynaecologist, with over 30 years of experience in his field. He strives to put his patient's interests at the core of everything he does. He has successfully performed hundreds of abdominal, laparoscopic and vaginal surgeries with high patient satisfaction rates. He has a sub-specialist interest in female pelvic health, pelvic floor reconstructive surgery [uterine and vaginal wall prolapse], and urinary incontinence. He also has considerable experience in the management of uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, bleeding problems, abnormal cervical smears, and ‘loose' or gaping vagina.
Mr. Daniel Selo-Ojeme graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1980 and came to the UK in 1997 following completion of postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Nigeria, earning him a Gold Medal Prize award. Once he moved over to the UK, he continued his professional training, going through the North Thames Postgraduate training rotation and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2004. That same year, he was appointed consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in Barnet & Chase Farm hospitals NHS Trust.
In addition to his busy practice, Mr. Selo-Ojeme is active in the field of clinical research. He is widely published with over 70 peer reviewed publications, and has won research awards. He is also a talented teacher and an Educational Supervisor.
Mr Selo-Ojeme has held the posts of Director of Medical Education, Simulation Director, College Tutor, Divisional Appraisal Lead, Clinical Audit Lead and Gynaecology Clinical Governance Lead.
He is a keen golfer and plays off HC 18.

My vist was fantastic from comeing in to going home all staff were lovley and kept in formed what was going on and mr daniel selo- ojeme was fantastic room nice food was lovley great hospital
Mr Selo-Ojeme was very professional and caring. His examination, explanations and so on were clear and helpful and helpful answered all my questions at the consultation and before the operation. His team in the hospital were all lovely too and my overnight stay was very comfortable.

Dr. Selo did a fantastic job. He reassured me when I was very nervous before my surgery and gave me great news of a successful surgery afterwards. He performed a laparoscopy and burned off my endometriosis and this sticky fluid that fused some organs together. The staff team were also very nice and made me feel so comfortable and taken cared of from check in to discharge. I highly recommend. I also really appreciated and felt like I was in good hands as Dr.Selo is definitely a man of God. Really praise God for Dr. Selo and I pray that God will continue to use him for his glory and for God to bless him abundantly. Thank you so much Dr.Selo and Staff team like Elsa and Dikki, and everyone else. Amazing.
Dr Selo-Ojeme and the care team was excellent, they reassured me that I would be taken care. Which keeps me calm and take away my anxiety.

The care, kindness, and support I received from the entire team made a real difference to my experience.
Laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy and removal of fallopian tubes. From start to finish, I couldn’t have had a better experience. Mr Selo-Ojeme was clear, gave details and answered my questions. I was in very good hands and went home the next day.
Experience was one of the best I’ve had! I would definitely recommend. He is so lovely and explains everything thoroughly, and made sure I was at ease before he continued with anything!
