Mr Aho listened attentively to me as I introduced myself and gave him my reasons for being in his office.He explained how he could help me and his calm down to earth manner filled me with confidence.He treated me successfully at the Princess Grace Hospital where the care was excellent.All in all Tev Aho is a very talented competent and extremely kind gentleman.

I had HoLEP surgery in January 2026 with Tev Aho, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome. The procedure went very smoothly, and my recovery was remarkably fast. I experienced no incontinence, no leakage, and no issues with erectile function, which made the whole experience even more reassuring. Dr. Aho is an exceptional surgeon—skilled, attentive, and genuinely caring. He listens carefully, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel completely at ease. This procedure was recommended by a friend who was extremely pleased with his treatment and outcome. I had been taking Finasteride for around 15 years, and my disturbed sleep was gradually getting worse, typically having to the loo 3 or 4 times every night.

Excellent and most efficient

Mr Aho performed HoLEP surgery on my enlarged prostate. He was very reassuring pre-op taking the time to explain everything fully and not rushing to finish the consultation. I had no pain at all from the procedure and left hospital the next day. Mr Aho explained what to expect post op and I have had no pain at any time. I now have a vastly better flow and am up once a night rather than three times. It has been an excellent decision to have the procedure. I would recommend Mr Aho to any one seeking treatment for an enlarged prostate.

From first consultation to final discharge the process was carried out with friendly approach and profound professionalism. Every step was explained with potential outcomes. The nursing care was exemplary. Overall a very straightforward procedure and thankfully a successful outcome.

After suffering for many years with what I now know was a restriction of my urethra due to the bladder neck applying pressure, I contacted David, Mr Aho's secretary. It was the best phone call I have made in decades! I was urinating up to 15 times daily,5 times during the night and I became totally exhausted due to lack of sleep. My quality of life was literally 1/10. I did my research and Tev Aho is the best in the world at Holep and it's not surprising as patients travel from USA and beyond for his expertise. Mr Aho removed part of my prostate and I opted for an ejaculating sparring method with a brilliant result! My prostate was also squeezing my bladder neck and this pressure was the cause of numerous toilet visits. After the operation I was left with an overactive bladder which was severe and within 3 months Mr Aho placed me on medication. This has been wonderful alongside the operation. My quality of life is now 9/10 . I go to the toilet roughly every 2-3 hours and my bladder can now hold a huge 600 ml ! During the night I go once, sometimes twice, but I'm confident this will improve to zero or once , after I complete this course of bladder calming medication. At 59 I am possibly one of the younger patients and I shouldn't have left my symptoms for the length I did. Mr Aho is a wonderful,caring and incredibly skilled surgeon.
