    About

Mr Stephen Gordon is an experienced Consultant Urologist specialising in the treatment of kidney stones. He graduated with a degree in medicine from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and carried out his specialisation training throughout the South East of England and London, gaining extensive experience in the management and treatment of all urological conditions. Furthermore, he completed a fellowship at the renowned Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital where he developed his skills for using the most advanced treatment methods for kidney stone disease.

Mr Gordon leads one of the largest kidney stone treatment units in the UK and always ensures that a rapid and accurate diagnosis is provided to his patients. It’s been a while since my HoLEP procedure and I did my first PSA test since then which came in very low as Mr Gordon predicted. I can safely say that the HoLEP has been a great success. No night-time interruptions, a stream as good as I can remember and none of those sudden urges that could ruin many a day out!! My new system has been road tested on long car journeys, a day at Twickenham (with associated refreshments over a number of hours), and train journeys home after an evening in the pub in town – and passed all with flying colours !! It is hard to do references but if other patients are considering this procedure I would be happy to recommend it. Don’t know if there is a “checkatrade for urologists” – but happy to provide this account on Doctify. Thank you, Mr Gordon for all your guidance - and a steady surgeon’s hand – I am truly grateful. Thank you too Selina, your personal assistant – it’s a very well organised practice.

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Mr Gordon previously so I knew what to expect and he delivered. Mr Gordon never talks at you, he communicates and with this approach I never have any concerns about the procedure as I feel he is it the top of expertise in his field.
