Mr Rowland Rees is a Consultant Urologist with over two decades of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of urological conditions. He sees private patients at the Circle Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester and OneWelbeck in Central London.
After graduating from the University of London, Mr Rees trained in general urology, then Andrology, Genito-urethral and reconstructive surgery. He currently provides a specialist tertiary service for all aspects of male genital surgery in the South of England, and has a NHS practise across University Hospital Southampton and UCLH, London.

I found the whole experience very professional from start to finish. He was clear with what the procedure was and what I was going to experience during the recovery. The surgery itself has now changed my life. I can come off constant medication and no longer fear regular infection. I am very grateful for the treatment by Mr Rowland Rees.

Mr Rees carried out Urethroplasty in 2024. He explained in depth the pros and cons of having the treatment as well as the success rate of such surgery in prior consultations.

Always clear, direct and personable. Good follow up. Excellent response times and support from his office secretary. My only gripe is that his busy schedule meant he was not as prompt to visit me following the operation as had been indicated by the nursing staff.
Thank you for the kind review. While my aim is always to visit on the first post operative morning, it is sometimes thwarted by events. I'm glad all went well.

At the time of the procedure Mr Rees was very clear in terms of the procedure, expectations post procedure and potential issues. At all times Mr Rees checked my understanding and the follow up process post activation gave me the opportunity to feedback what was actually happening, how I was feeling and whether my expectations had been met. It also allowed me to ask further questions about the future and check my understanding. I am delighted with the outcome and can confirm that my quality of life has certainly improved from the procedure and am grateful to Mr Rees.
