    About

Mr Stapleton is a specialist in Podiatric Sports Medicine specialising in the management of musculoskeletal injuries.

Mr Stapleton graduated from University of Brighton in 2000 during its period as the centre of excellence for Podiatry in the UK and was among the first 6 Podiatrists nationwide to gain the coveted PGc in Podiatric Sports Medicine from Queen Mary University of London. I currently hold PGdip in theory of Podiatric surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University.

Mr Stapleton is an extended scope Podiatrist which includes Prescription only Medicine, Corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection therapy, shock wave therapy, nail and minor skin surgery and ultrasound imaging, with special interest biomechanics and gait analysis.

Mr Stapleton holds a consultancy post at Benenden hospital trust, Cranbrook, and practices from Chislehurst Podiatry Practice in Kent. Having been honoured to speak at some large national conferences, including the Elevate sports at Excel London, Podiatric Sports Medicine conference and chaired the Podiatric Sports Medicine tract of the College of Podiatry national conference, as well as expert opinion pieces published in various sports magazines.

I believe in patient centred care integrated into a multidisciplinary team for best outcomes. I have a friendly approachable nature believing in communicating and educating patients in a way they can understand.

My audits through the PASCOM10 tool show very good treatment outcomes, and patient satisfaction.

I immediately felt at ease when I saw Mr Stapleton. He conveyed a sense of caring as he sought relevant background information about my past history with the problem which I presented. He took time to explain in detail the procedure to be done in a way which was easily understood. He did not however, get the opportunity to carry out the procedure because I hadn't organised transport for getting home and as he was concerned that a long train journey and a good deal of walking home would not have been wise. Furthermore, as he had holiday booked for the following week, he would not have been in a position to see me three days after the procedure, as he would normally do. He advised me to make another appointment and this was done.
