Mr Stefan Weitzel is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon specialising in foot, ankle and knee surgery. He has over three decades of experience and sees private patients at several private locations across London, including:

Mr Weitzel completed his primary medical degree at the Medical School of the Albert-Ludwigs University in Germany. After qualifying he completed his specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in London and Norwich. He then undertook further postgraduate fellowships and placements at prestigious orthopaedic surgery centres in the UK, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. Here he found his passion for foot and ankle surgery.
Since then Mr Weitzel has become one of the most experienced foot and ankle specialists in the NHS.

I had my own room with on suite, staff looked after me 100% plus more , I was comfortable,,, my surgeon was wonderful, I wasn’t worried or frightened to have my hip replaced,I told the nurse how I felt as I was being wheeled down for surgery, I thank you very much for all your care you gave me

I recently had ankle surgery performed by Dr. Stefan Weitzel, and I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care I received. From the very beginning, Dr. Weitzel took the time to explain the entire process to us — from diagnosis to post-surgery recovery — in a clear and reassuring way. He patiently answered all our questions, no matter how big or small, and made sure we felt informed and confident every step of the way. Highly recommended – Very thorough and attentive. I had a MRI after my first appointment and Dr. Weitzel explained the results clearly. I felt well-guided throughout, and received a recommendation to one of his colleagues for further steps.
