Mr. Griffiths is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant working at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. He has a specialist interest in total hip and knee replacement surgery and revision hip and knee replacement surgery.

He specialises in primary, complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, complex pelvic and acetabular reconstructive surgery, lower limb reconstruction for metastatic tumour disease, and young adult hip surgery including hip arthroscopy.
He qualified in 2005 from Guys, Kings and St Thomas' School of medicine, London. He undertook his junior doctor training in London before completing his Orthopaedic Registrar training in the Wessex Deanery.
In 2014 he completed a one-year international fellowship in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery and lower limb reconstructive tumour surgery, in Perth Australia.
He has also completed a trauma fellowship in a level 1 trauma unit in Denver, USA.
He is actively involved in the training and supervising of junior doctors and orthopedic registrars. He presents at both national and international conferences and has lectured at the University of Western Australia. He regularly participates in research and is currently the lead investigator for several research studies.
