The appointment was good but I don’t really think it was necessary and could have been done with an e-consult or a phone call.

None of us looks forward to surgery but to have this performed by Jamie Griffiths could almost be described as a plaeasure. His calm demeanour imbues confidence which post op I can confirm is fully justified. My second hip is now working well and I am almost disappointed that I dont have a third one for him to replace!

I saw Mr Griffiths yesterday evening and we discussed how well my hip is after the operation. He assured me that some pain I have in the knee on the other leg should ease with exercise and I am pleased he has a plan if needed. Mr Griffiths is very easy to speak to and listens patiently; he explains procedures and is very positive.

We reviewed together the steroid injection in my knee from my last visit. I gave an update on how my knee has been since in terms of pain , movement , and use of it in my daily tasks. I answered any questions from Mr Griffiths and we made a forward plan of action. At some point the steroid will have come to its fruition and it is up to me to progress the next actions. I am happy with the situation and will be in communication when necessary .
