About Mr Yasser Abdul Aal
Mr Yasser Abdul is a Consultant General and Emergency Surgeon with clinical interests in laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia, anti-reflux surgeries and advanced upper gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures.
Mr Abdul graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, gaining broad experience in general surgery in the UK and overseas ever since. After completing a gastrointestinal surgery training programme in the UK, he undertook an 18-month fellowship in Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant surgery at King's College Hospital, London and consolidated his general surgery experience by working at St George's and Croydon University Hospitals.
In addition to the services he provides at Benenden Hospital, Mr Abdul also works with the NHS as a Consultant General Surgeon for the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He is also an instructor of the Manager of Critically Ill Surgical Patients course at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a GMC recognised trainer.
Mr Abdul's interests also lie in medical education, management of critically ill patients and have published leading articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

I am very grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend them to anyone needing similar treatment.

An amazing calm person. Thoughtful and showed his experience, kind and courteous . Pleasant to myself and my husband, he also took time to explain the procedure and what would be happening next. Also, took time to visit after procedure.
What a amazing surgeon. I felt he really wanted me to know everything and that in turn left the whole experience calm.
Friendly and supportive and explained everything in response to questions.
He was professional, caring and put me at ease with his knowledge and confidence in his work. Staff speak so highly too which is also reassuring. Greatly appreciate his amazing work, eternally grateful.
