From the first consultation I felt I was in incredibly capable hands. Mr Patel gave me all the information I needed and I went into surgery confident that it was the right course to take. Four months later my shoulder is feeling great and I’m already back doing physical activities I thought I wouldn’t be able to do again.

I was surprised how thorough Dr Vish Patel was in his examination of my elbow issue. He suggested that the problem may not actually be in my elbow but the surrounding areas as I had a clean MRI of the elbow. He immediately found some issues in my left biceps and rear deltoid muscles. He was more than happy to explain clearly and also compared results between my left and right arms to show me exactly what the issues were.

Clear, concise and positive. Mr Patel filled me with confidence about the procedure and recovery.

Vish is clearly at the peak of his profession and provided me with clear diagnosis, and understandable explanation of all planned treatments and potential outcomes. He is very approachable and reassuring. There is no doubt in my mind that his actions and skills have helped to resolve my severely torn shoulder tendon. I am a 69 year old active male, at the time of writing, I am 7 months post op, and I have much better mobility and weekly improvement to my shoulder. I am already enjoying many activities and fully intend to continue with the rehab/exercises that Vish recommends.

Mr Patel is a genius, a successful operation of incredible complexity and excellent follow up consultation and advice.

I’ve had a very positive experience recovering from the anatomical labral surgery. I haven’t had any problems with my shoulder since returning to rugby in October, the surgery was in May.
