Mr Sumit Dhingra

Mr Sumit Dhingra is an Ophthalmologist. Their special interests lie in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and general ophthalmology.

Mr Dhingra's undergraduate medical and surgical training took place at the University of Oxford. Following this, they completed nine years of post-graduate higher surgical training, working at various teaching and district general hospitals. They have also completed three years as a glaucoma research fellow, studying advances in glaucoma surgery. Following training in general ophthalmology, Mr Dhingra further enhanced their specialist glaucoma training by joining a prestigious glaucoma fellowship training programme. They were awarded a PhD for their work on glaucoma scarring.
