Mr Steve Richardson

Mr Richardson is the lead surgeon in Manchester for the open repair of complex aneurysms of the Aorta. He also specialises in keyhole minimally invasive varicose vein treatments using the latest techniques.

Mr Richardson completed his Medical degree at Imperial College London. He stayed in London as a junior doctor at Chelsea and Westminster hospital he was then selected for surgical training in the northwest of England.

He trained in cardiothoracic and transplant surgery in great depth and he worked as a Research Fellow at The Transplant Centre in South Manchester University Hospital where he discovered a new technique for diagnosing rejection in heart transplant recipients.
