Mr Shivram Singh

Dr Shivram Singh is a consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he performs major reconstructive surgery after skin and breast cancer procedures and trauma. He is a well-known microsurgeon who carries out microvascular reconstruction on a regular basis and is has expertise in a wide range of plastic surgery procedures following extensive training in both general plastic and cosmetic surgery at some of the most prestigious plastic surgery training institutions in the UK. Dr Singh owns a long-standing private practice in the West Midlands which offers a wide range of cosmetic operations. He joined the NHS as a consultant plastic surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2008 and has subsequently visited some of the world's most renowned plastic surgeons to hone his surgical skills. He is currently a consultant plastic surgeon for the NHS, serving Birmingham, the West Midlands, and Herefordshire.

Dr Singh graduated from medical school in 1988 with surgical rotations that included general surgery, paediatric surgery, and orthopaedic surgery. In 1994, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Ireland, before beginning his plastic surgery career in Belfast. He completed his advanced specialty training at hospitals across Northern Ireland, Scotland, and England and spent six years gaining further training in reconstruction and cosmetic procedures. Dr Singh was also a fellow in microvascular surgery at a well-known unit in Chelmsford, and he has since been invited to demonstrate his microvascular reconstructive techniques on television.

Dr Singh has also completed fellowships in breast and hand surgery and became an Intercollegiate Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, Edinburgh in 2006. In 2008, he was awarded the Diploma in Hand Surgery from the European Board of Plastic Surgeons and was enrolled as a Fellow to the Federation of European Society for Hand Surgery.
