Mr Mantry is an Opthalmology Consultant specialising in Cornea, Refractive Surgery at the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology for the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Trust since 2005.

He completed his Higher Specialist Training (HST) in Birmingham and completed two renowned fellowships in anterior segment in Birmingham and Nottingham. During his training, Mr Mantry developed a special interest in Lamellar keratoplasty and corneal refractive surgery.

Having performed over 2000 laser refractive procedures and over 20,000 lens procedures, Mr Mantry also provides tertiary corneal refractive surgery expertise for routine and complex corneal problems.

Having published over 20 peer-reviewed articles and acting as an examiner for the Opthalmologist Fellowship exam (Glasgow), Mr Mantry is a leader in his field. He is part of the faculty for national and international conferences for Cornea, Cataract and Refractive surgery.
