About Mr Ken Lai
Mr. Ken Lai is a highly experienced and fully accredited Consultant Ophthalmologist, with a specialised focus on glaucoma. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2006 and completed his Ophthalmology Specialist Training in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, including subspecialty fellowship training in glaucoma.
Since 2016, Mr. Lai has been serving as a Glaucoma Specialist and general ophthalmologist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. In his role, he leads the Glaucoma service and plays a pivotal part in both undergraduate and postgraduate ophthalmology training programs.
Mr. Lai’s expertise encompasses a broad range of glaucoma treatments, including various laser therapies, augmented filtering surgery, drainage device implantation, and micro-invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS). He is also skilled in cataract surgery.
